After cpanel increased their prices, we have seen many people switched to shared/cracked/nulled cpanel licenses. But we have seen lots of problems with these types of licenses.
- It messes up the time. When you check the cpanel logs it will show wrong timing. Sometimes weeks or months in the past.
- cpanel user account will show SSL warning even when SSL is fine. It's due to messed up time.
- Unable to set force redirect to https in cpanel
- Hostname SSL doesn't get installed or auto-renewed
- API failure will occur. Your WHMCS, Blesta, ClientExec, HostBill etc. will face issues randomly.
- cpanel will crash every now and then with strange coding error in the logs
- cpanel updates will often fail. You will be forced to use a little older version of cpanel
- Webmail services will often crash
